Dr Andrew Heyman, MD, MHSA

Dr Heyman is a medical practitioner and itnernationally recognised expert in Integrative Medicine, with diverse clinical interest including Functional Nutrition, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Medical Acupuncture, Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine and Medical Aesthetics. This broad range of therapies allows him to develop a comprehensive treatment plan for both the acute and long-term health goals of his patients.
Dr Heyman is currently the Program Director of Integrative and Metabolic Medicine at George Washington University USA, and Director of the MMI Fellowship in Nutritionals and Metabolic Medicine.
He previously served to build obe of the largest and most successful academic-based Integrative Medicine programs in the United States, and was the clinical chair of the Consortium of Academic Health Centres for Integrative Medicine a collaboration of 57 North American universities involved in Integrative Medicine. He is the online editor for the Journal of Men's Health in the section if Integrative Medicine, and Editor-In-Chief of the Internet Journal of Anti-Ageing and Aesthetic Medicine.
His research interests include the stress response and neuroendocrinology, cardiometabolic disease, men's health and clinical outcomes research methodologies.
