Advisory Panel

The A5M Advisory Panel comprises of respected leaders and experts within the medical and commercial fields who have been invited to provide A5M with a strategic overview relating to preventative, integrative and anti-ageing medicine.

The role of the panel is to:

  • Provide expert opinions and support to ensure A5M is delivering credible, evidence-based research, education and protocols.
  • Allowing members and delegates to achieve goals and provide the highest standard of patient care
  • Bring unique knowledge and skills to the organisation
  • Help oversee and ensure the quality of clinical care, patient safety, and customer service is reflected in the educational content, programs and events provided by A5M
  • Assist A5M in maintaining a constructive relationship with the medical and health practitioner members and relevant external organisations

Ms Helen Anton

As Director of The AustralAsian Academy of Anti-Ageing Medicine (A5M), Ms Anton leads a dedicated team of professionals who develop and present Continuing Education Programs, Workshops, Conferences and Seminars to enable healthcare professionals to maintain effective practices and achieve better patient outcomes. Since 2007, under her stewardship, A5M has flourished into a cutting edge and rapidly growing accredited evidence-based medical education provider.

Prior to undertaking this role Ms Anton was a Pharmaceutical & Medical Marketing Consultant (1990 - 2007). She was responsible for setting up multidisciplinary Medical Centres combining different modalities for the health and well-being of patients. The integration of preventative protocols, integrative medicine, pathology testing and mainstream general practice provided a whole-body approach to treatment of patients.
She also provided advice to medical practitioners and other healthcare professionals who wanted to incorporate this unique approach to their individual practices. Ms Anton provided the marketing and strategic support that achieved the corporate and patient goals required.

Ms Anton’s career is founded on extensive pharmaceutical sales and marketing experience. From 1989 -1998 she worked at AMRAD, an Australian Pharmaceutical company, on the Cardiovascular Risk Reduction Program developed in conjunction with the Baker Medical Research Institute to support the aim of providing more patient education and increase awareness in the area of Cardiovascular Health.

In addition, Ms Anton gained invaluable experience as a General Practice & Specialist Representative, and later Product Manager at GLAXO Australia (now GSK Australia) throughout the 1980s. This is where her experience in disseminating information and protocols to medical practitioners and allied health professionals began. Throughout this period, she developed extensive experience across respiratory, gastroenterology and dermatology specialties. 

Ms Mary-Louise Condon

Mary-Lou has practised as a retail and compounding pharmacist since graduating from University of Queensland in 1990. She trained for several years in the USA, where she learnt her passion for compounding. She is truly passionate about bespoke medication and particularly interested in cutting edge research and technology.

Her belief is truly about personalised medicine to create wellness. To support her interests, she continually attends conferences and loves to learn. She is an Anti-Ageing and Integrative Practitioner, combining nutraceuticals (vitamins and nutrition), hormones and pain management.

Mary-Lou has trained with the PCCA focusing on natural hormones and has completed A5M's Anti-Ageing Integrative Medicine course (ACAAM) and the American Board of Anti-Ageing Medicine. She is certified under the American Board of Anti-Ageing Health Practitioners (ABAAHP).   

Dr Aparna Hegde

Dr Aparna Hegde is a UWA (1994) graduate who has specialised in General Practice and Aerospace Medicine. Aparna completed her certification in Anti-Ageing Medicine with A5M in 2017 (ACAAM). She has a special interest in Women's Health, she is experienced in the use of bio-identical hormones and supplements to restore normal physiology. Aparna was in the RAAF full time for 11 years and is still in the specialist reserves.

Mr Warren Maginn

Warren is a Clinical Nutritionist who specialises in the treatment of chronic health concerns through the principles of Functional Medicine and a highly individualised approach to patient care.

Warren holds a bachelor degree in Nutritional Medicine as well as postgraduate qualifications in Human Nutrition and teaches bachelor students of Clinical Nutrition in Brisbane Australia.

Warren also acts as an international speaker and educator, supporting health practitioners in taking a personalised approach to patient care within integrative health management, as well as helping the general public to better understand some of the many factors determining optimum personal health.

Warren has provided commentary for national radio, television and web/podcast interviews on numerous topics related to modern health and chronic disease as part of his passion for empowering individuals with the skills, tools and awareness they need to maximise their own personal potential.

Dr Tania Ash

Dr Tania Ash is a clinician, teacher, lecturer and leader in her field in Australia, and has spoken on wide-ranging topics including: The optimal anti-ageing diet, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and adrenal fatigue. She hold a medical degree form Melbourne University, a fellowship with RACGP and a fellowship in anti-ageing and integrative medicine with the American Board of Anti-Aging Medicine.

Dr Ash is renowned for frequently providing the final port of call for her clients by addressing the root causes of her clients' chronic illnesses and creating a comprehensive management plan, that includes boosting energy production on a cellular level, as well as correcting nutritional deficiencies to optimal levels. Dr Ash is committed to empowering her clients to have vitality breakthroughs and to extend longevity with quality of life.

In 2018, Dr Ash presented the inaugural Bill Anton Memorial Lecture at the 12th Annual A5M Conference entitled: "Re-evaluating the aetiology and treatment of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/Fibromyalgia". Her lecture focused on her passion for evaluating CFS, which was long encouraged by her mentor and co-founder of A5M; the late Bill Anton. In years to come, this lecture spot at the Annual A5M Conference will focus on education, innovation and the integrative approach to medicine Bill Anton was so passionate about.

Dr Rhona Creegan

Dr Rhona Creegan is a Nutritional Biochemist and Registered Nutritionist (NSA) with extensive experience in Clinical biochemistry, Molecular genetics and Nutrition. She has completed a Masters degree in Nutrition Medicine and more recently a PhD which investigated plasma lipid biomarkers in Alzheimer's disease. Her key interests are abnormal lipid metabolism and metabolic dysfunction; key features of chronic disease and ageing. Dr Creegan is a Nutrition Medicine Practitioner, researcher, lecturer and published author.

Dr Andrew Heyman

A medical practitioner and internationally recognised expert in natural therapies, Hr Heyman has been involved in the field of anti-ageing and integrative medicine for over two decades and has extensive experience in nutrition, vitamins, herbology, Chinese medicine, manual therapies and more.

Dr Heyman is currently the Program Director of Integrative and Metabolic Medicine at The George Washington University, USA. Prior to assuming this role, he spent 16 years at the University of Michigan, serving to build one of the largest and most successful academic-based Integrative Medicine programs in the United States, and was the clinical chair of the Consortium of Academic Health Centres for Integrative Medicine a collaboration of 57 North American universities involved in Integrative Medicine.

He is the online editor for the Journal of Men's Health in the section of Integrative Medicine, and he also holds the position of Editor-In-Chief of the Internet Journal of Anti-Aging and Aesthetic Medicine. His research interests include the Stress response and NeuroEndocrinology, Cardiometabolic Disease, Men's Health and clinical outcomes research methodologies.

Dr Vinesh Singh

Dr Singh is an Integrative GP who completed his medical degree at University of London in 2001 and is a member of both RCGP in the UK and RACGP in Australia. Vinesh has also studied with A5M and completed his certification in Anti-Ageing Medicine (ACAAM). He uses a holistic approach to treating his patients, including functional, nutritional and environmental medicine. He also uses exercise and fitness as a treatment program. Vinesh's clinical interests include: Digestive Health, Men's Health, Women's Health, Preventative Health, Lifestyle Changes, Nutrition and Chronic Diseases.
