Genetics
“People are trapped in history and history is trapped in them.”
--James Baldwin
The ultimate accomplishment for the science of anti-ageing medicine will be the achievement of practical immortality –in which we live vital life spans of 120 years or more. Biotechnical discoveries will permit scientists to alter the course and concept of ageing. Genetic research –whether through stem cell research, therapeutic cloning or nanotechnology --is one area which will see profound and remarkable changes in the years ahead.
A5M offers information, seminars and courses on how genetics play a vital role in anti-ageing medicine.

When will we reach age 120?
There is now consensus among scientists our genetically-set maximum life span is about 120 years. One of the obstacles that keep us from reaching that top end is the free-radical theory on ageing, a special report by A5M.
