BOARD CERTIFICATION PROGRAM - ABAARM / ABAAHP
Certification denotes peer-recognition in Anti-Ageing Medicine and generates new patient referrals from patients seeking qualified Anti-Ageing practitioners via A5M. It raises the standard of professional care and recognition offered by practitioners delivering integrative, complementary, and alternate healthcare as well as allied health professionals.
ABAARM
The American Board of Anti-Aging/Regenerative Medicine (ABAARM) issues Board Certification to individuals with MD, DO, and MBBS degrees. ABAARM offers these medical professionals with recognition of their specialty knowledge and clinical practice of Anti-Ageing medical care. The long-term objective of ABAARM is to achieve formal sub-specialty recognitionand a new status for Anti-Ageing Medicine and those practicing it as qualified clinicians.
The internationally recognised ABAARM Certification program consists of two parts:
1. Part I. Written Examination: 3-hour multiple-choice written exam assesses proficiency in several areas of Anti-Ageing clinical care, with a predominant focus on practical knowledge skills in diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, nutritional therapies, and pharmaceuticals, as well as sound textbook knowledge of endocrinology, neurophysiology, and cancer.
2. Part II. Oral Examination: Candidates are questioned by two oral examiners during an in person, private exam interview. Generally the oral exam takes 30 to 40 minutes and consists of one or two standardised mock cases and related clinical questions.
After completion of all requirements for Part I and receipt of signed Diplomate certificate from the Board, a physician may refer to themself as a Diplomate in Anti-Ageing Medicine. After passing Part II and verification by ABAARM of completion of the physician s certification criteria, s/he may refer to her/himself as Board Certified in Anti-Ageing Medicine.

ABAAHP
A similar certification process also exists for Complementary Health Practitioners. The American Board of Anti-Aging Health Practitioners (ABAAHP) issues Diplomate Certification to Chiropractors, Dentists, Naturopaths, Podiatrists, Registered Pharmacists, Scientists (PhD and similar), Registered Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants. The ABAAHP was founded to provide advanced education, representation, and specialty recognition of scientific and healthcare professionals.
The ABAAHP certification process consists of a 3-hour multiple-choice written exam similar to that of the ABAARM Part I. Upon successful completion of examination and board requirements, the healthcare practitioner can refer to themself as a Diplomate in Anti-Ageing Medicine.
